Darren CAMPBELL - Great Britain & N.I. - 2002: gold, silver & bronze medals at two Championships

The main photo above shows Darren during the heats of the 100m at the 2002 European Championships in Munich. He originally won the bronze medal behind Dwain Chambers and Francis Obikwelu but was later elevated to the silver medal position when Chambers' results were annulled after he admitted to taking drugs during that period. The smaller inset picture shows the race finish.

England in the 4x100m relay at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. It was an especially happy

moment for Campbell as it capped a fine return from long term injury and came in front of his home crowd in Manchester.
