Eilidh Doyle is here pictured during her semi-final of the women's 400 metres hurdles,
she just qualified for the final as one of the the fastest losers (55.33). Tate ran 55.31
for the other position.
2016 European Champion and Olympic silver medallist Sara Petersen 55.45
was the next fastest and thus failed to reach the final.

Three days after the hurdles final Eilidh helped the British team win the silver medals,
in the 4x400m relay,  running the third leg.
