Just a month later, Eilidh Doyle was competing in the biggest event in athletics, the Olympic Games, in her indivdual event
the 400m hurdles. She won her heat with 55.46s and made the final after a 54.99 in her semi final ,as one of the two fastest losers.
Given lane one in the final she finshed 8th.
