Eilidh Child clears a hurdle at the end of the back straight in her semi final of the women''s
400 metres hurdles in Beijing. She finished third with a time of 54.80 seconds to qualify for
the final in which she ran an almost identical time. She won her heat in 54.74 seconds !
Amazing consistency.
In October 2015 she married former 400 metre runner Brian Doyle and thereafter ran
as Eilidh Doyle.
