Jessica is pictured above during the High Jump and Long Jump disciplines of the Pentathlon
at the 2007 European Indoor Championships in Birmingham in March 2007. She finished in
6th place overall with a total of 4716 points. Ennis had enjoyed her first taste of success in
senior athletics when winning bronze at the previous years Commonwealth Games,
her total of 6269 points only 29 back on the silver medal winner Kylie Wheeler.
