Katarina Johnson-Thompson had to accept the double Olympic Games and World Champion
Nafissatou Thiam was likely to win barring injury and that is what happened. Katarina, however,
recorded season bests in the 100m hurdles (13.34), high jump (1.91m), shot put (13.09),
javelin (42.16m a PB), 800m (2:09.84) and a Championship best (heptathlon) in the 200 metres
of 22.88 seconds. All of which gave her a new personal best score.
