The photos above show Lynsey competing at the 2012 Olympic Games in London where she reached the semi finals
and the (inset) image of her in Finland at the European Championships, where she was awarded the Gold Medal in the 800 metres.
The event in Helsinki was won by Russia's Yelena Arzhakova, but she was later found to have had an "abnormal haemoglobin profile
in her biological passport" or to use a more common expression - she was taking illegal drugs.
In spring of 2013 Lindsey was declared the official winner. Her time in Helsinki was a personal best of 2 minutes 00.52 seconds.
