Matthew HUDSON-SMITH - Great Britain & N.I. - 2017 World Championships 4x400m bronze medal.

Mathew Hudson-Smith is pictured above during his heat of the men's 400 metres from
which he qualified for the semi-finals as one of the six fastest losers (45.31).
He was actually fifth in his heat ! In his semi-final he finished fourth in a season best of 44.74,
failing to get to the final by just one tenth of a second.


Matthrew ran the first leg of the final but did not run in the heats. His time in the final was given as 45.5.
400m hurdler Jack Green was replaced in the final, but still qualified for a medal.
