The pictures above show the closing few metres of the mens 5000m final as Mo Farah goes agonisingly close to winning gold at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg. The aptly named Spaniard Jesus Espana pipped him by just nine hundredths of a second with another Spanish athlete, Juan Carlos Higuero, taking bronze.
