Rabah Yousif gets the British men's 4 x 400 metres relay team off to a flying start in
the final - running the first leg - and taking the lead. He handed over to Delano Williams,
who like Rabah, also ran in the heats when G.B. recorded the fastest qualifying time (3:01.63).
But the quartet chosen for the final, in spite of another season best of 3:01.44 , had to settle for
third place behind Belgium (3:01.10) and Poland (3:01.18).
