The British quartet won the European Championship final the following day with Adam Gemili taking
the last leg in place of Daniel Talbot (who also received a Gold medal) . Results below.

Earlier in 2014 at the World Indoor Championships in Sopot (Poland) Richard Kilty won the men's 60 metres
Gold medal in a personal best time of 6.49 seconds. The Final was the closest race in the history of
the World Indoor Championships, as all eight men crossed the finish line less than one-tenth of a second apart,
with the top six runners separated by only 0.04 s. He was the sixth Briton to run a sub 6.50 second 60m indoors.
