Robert Grabarz came very close to winning his second bronze medal at an Olympic Games
and it was only his failure to clear 2.25m on his first attempt (he did it on hos 2nd) that stopped
him possibly sharing third place with Bohdan Bondarenko. The latter, bye-passing 2.29m. was the
all important moment as they both cleared 2.33m on their first attempts.
