Defending Champion Kirani James had a very disappointing time at the 2013 World Championships
in Moscow where he finished last but one in the Final. He won his heat in 45.00 seconds and his semi final
in 44.81 but as the result below shows failed to reproduce his best form when it really mattered.
The picture above was taken with about 40 metres still to run in the Final of the Men's 400 metres.
