Kirani James finishing fifth in the final of the men's
400 metres in Paris. He ran a season best in his sem-final
of 43.78. (pictured below). Kirani was compeing in his
fourth Olympic 400m final, but unlike in the previous three
he was unable to win a medal. Of course in London 2012 he
won the gold medal.
