Derval O'Rourke wins her second European Championship silver medal in the
women's 100m hurdles - this time in Barcelona. However, this was upgraded to the
gold medal in 2013 when Yanit was banned for taking drugs.

Sweden's Susanna Kallur (lane 4) won the gold and Germany's Kirsten Bolm, who also clocked 12.72, the bronze.

Born in Cork, O'Rourke attended University College, Dublin (UCD) where she held a sports scholarship between 2000 and 2004.
She graduated with a BA (Hons) degree from the college in 2003 and a Diploma in Business Studies from the
UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business in 2005. In June 2014 O'Rourke announced her retirement from athletics.
