Annsert Whyte hurdling at the 2015 World Championships in the men's 400m hurdles
semi finals. He finished 7th in a personal best time of 48.90 seconds but 48.53 was needed to
qualify for the final as one of the two fastest losers. A year later at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games
he did reach the final of a major final winning his semi final in a personal best time of 48.32.
In the final he again recorded a PB when he took fifth place in 48.07 seconds.
