Elaine THOMPSON-HERAH - Jamaica - 2016 Olympic Games women's 100m & 200m Champion.

Having lost the 2015 World Championship 200 metres title by just three hundreds of a seconds,

to Dafne Schippers,  Elaine Thompson was determined to reverse the situation in Rio and at the

same time complete a remarkable double. And she did,  running a season best in the longer

event. She then added a relay silver to her two gold medals.
