Elaine THOMPSON-HERAH - Jamaica - Gold & silver medals at 2015 World Championships.


Elaine is seen here winning her heat of the women's 200 metres in Beijing (22.78).

In the final two days later she set a new personal best in what was her first

major championship. Elaine won a gold medal in the 4x100m relay on the last day

of the Championships.

The finish of the women's 200 metres final is below and it shows Elaine just leading with 50 metres to go.

As the finalist approach the finish line Dafne closes in to snatch the gold medal.

 

 

 

Elaine's expression might be one of "how did I loss that race" as she looks at the Stadium's screen showing the

recording of the final.

 

The following year at the Rio Olympic Games she did everything right and won the women's
