Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was unable to win a third 100 metres Olympic Games
title in Rio, in spite of a season best 10.86 and had to settle for the bronze medal.
It seems winning the World 100 metres Championship three times was "easier",
perhaps because they are ever two years apart and not four years.
But in truth she would have had to equal her 2012 personal best of 10.70 to beat
Elaine Thompson and that was never likely.
