Usain BOLT - Jamaica - 2008 Olympics 4x100m Gold - later cancelled.

The main photo above shows Usain celebrating after Jamaica had won gold in the 4x100m relay at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. It completed a memorable triple for Bolt, who had earlier struck gold in both the 100m and 200m (see previous pages).

Remarkably all three events were in world record times, with this 4x100m relay victory seeing the Jamaicans smash the previous world best of 37.40 secs set by the USA back in 1993. The inset photo shows Bolt (2nd left) on the podium with his team mates Nesta Carter, Michael Frater and Asafa Powell as they collect their medals.

IN JANUARY 2017 NESTA CARTER WAS FOUND TO HAVE USED DRUGS AND THE GOLD MEDAL

WAS AWARDED TO TRINIDAD & TOBAGO.
