to the 100 metres he had won just two days earlier and running the fastest time in the
world, 19.55 seconds. Justin Gatlin was the previous fastest with 19.57 seconds and it
was thought that he might at last beat Bolt over his favoured distance. No hope.
Usain even had time to thump his chest as he approached the finish line.
