On the same day that Britain's Mo Farah won his seventh gold medal at either the World Championships
or the Olympic Games the great Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt won his SEVENTEENTH . OK he did have the
advantage of running relays. He is seen above looking very relaxed after winning that 17th gold medal in
the men's 4 x 100m relay for Jamaica. Cool he was not, on yet another humid hot day at the
Olympic National Stadium in Beijing. The quartet was Nesta Carter, Asafa Powell, Nickel Ashmeade and Usain.
The U.S.A. finished second but were disqualified for a faulty baton exchange.

The 17th. Gold medal. Ah ! As fate would have it fame is not Universal. At the relay presentation
a certain Usain Bolt was mistaken for Nesta Carter and given his medal.
Are well you can not win every time.

Now here is a funny coincident. Usain has in his hand the gold medal that should have been handed
to Nesta Carter in Beijing in 2015. The same Nesta Carter who's fluid sample taken during the 2008
Olympic Games upon re-examination in 2017 showed traces of drug use and lost Usain the chance to
claimed a record 9th. Olympic Gold track and field medals. 3 x 3 x 3 = 9.
