Elijah Motonei MANANGOI - Kenya - 2017 men's 1,500 World Champion.

Elijah Manangoi gets past his fellow Kenyan Timothy Cheruiyot to win the men's 1,500 metres
World Championship final in the last individual competition of the Championships.
(Two team relays followed). Both runners had been at the front of the race and it was only
on the finishing straight that the result was decided - Managoi winning by two metres as they
crossed the finish line. Manangoi was the silver medallist in 2015.
