Elijah Manangoi, in a very close race to the finish line, just gets ahead of Morocco's
Abdalaati Iguider, to win the silver medal in the men's 1500m final. He was a mere
four hundreds of a second in front as they crossed the line. He passed three runners in
the last ten metres to win his medal. He won his semi final in 3:35.00 in which he
is pictured below. That time was his best in 2014 but on 17th. July 2015 he broke the
3:30 barrier with a new P.B. of 3:29.67 in Monoco.
