Nineteen year old Faith Cherotich clearing the last barrier
and racing to a bronze medal in the women's 3,000m steeplachse.
She came very close to beating the nine minutes for the first time,
but did run a personal best time.

At the age of 17, Faith Cherotich won the bronze medal at the 2021 World Athletics
Under-20 Championships held in Nairobi. Cherotich won the gold medal a year later
winning the title at the World U20 Championships in Cali, Columbia.
