The main photo above shows the closing stages of the womens 800 at the 2006 Grand Prix Final in Stuttgart. Janeth (3rd from left) finished in second place behind Cuba's Zulia Calatayud (27) with Hasna Benhassi (81) in third place. A week later Jepkosgei represented Africa in the World Cup, once again finishing in second place behind Calatayud.
