In 2011 Moses Mosop won the Chicargo marathon (2:05.37 course record) having earlier that year ran
a time of 2 hours 3.06 seconds, when finishing runner up at the Boston marathon to Geoffrey Mutai
(2 hours 03.02 seconds), which at the time were the fastest times ever recorded for a marathon.
