Timothy Cheruiyot battling to the finish line, having destroyed the field of twelve,
in the final of the men's 1,500 metres. He and Ronald Kwemoi took control from the
start and tried to run away from the rest. Timothy succeeded, winning by a margin
of two seconds ! Ronald had to accept seventh place, in a S.B. of 3:32.72.
Ironically, Timothy did not even run a season best (SB). He had ran a 3:28.77 in July.
