Mykolas ALEKNA - Lithuania - Discus silver medal at 2024 Olympic Games.

Daniel Ståhl and Mykolas Alekna can only sit and wonder.

2020 (2021) Olympic champion Stahl and world record holder

Alekna (74.35m in 2024) had both seen Roje Stona throw 70m

in round four and steal the show.

Virgilijus Alekna's 20-year Olympic record of 69.89 meters, set in Athens 2004,

was broken twice at in the finals — first by his son Mykolas with a throw of 69.97m

and then by Rojé Stona with his 70.00 meters.
