Sifan Hassan falls only metres from the finish of the women's 10,000 metres
under pressure from Gudaf Tsegay, the 2022 World 5,000m Champion.
She got back onto her feet to finish 11th. Tsegay won.
However, seven days later she won the silver medal in the 5,000 metres having
won a bronze medal in the 1,500m (see below). But Gold, Silver, Bronze would have looked
so much better on her career C.V.
