Anouk VETTER - Netherlands - 2016 European Heptathlon champion.

Twenty three year old Anouk Vetter could hardly have chosen a better place than

Amsterdam to set a new national record (succeeding Dafne Schippers as the Dutch record-holder)

and win the European Championship - the city in which she was born. Starting with a PB in the

opening event the 100m hurdles she made steady progress through the seven events to beat 2012/2014

champion Antoinette Nana Djimou.

Anouk also set PBs in the javelin and shot in Amsterdam.
