Dafne Shippers easily retains her 100 metres title with a time of 10.90 seconds,
from 2012 champion Ivet Lalova-Collio (then Ivet Lalova).
She ran the same time in the 2016 Olympic Games 100m Final (see below).

On the last day of the Championships Dafne added another gold medal to her collection when
she ran the 2nd leg of the women's 4x200 metres relay won by The Nederlands in a new
Nationjal record of 42.04. The team was: Jamile Samuel, Dafne Schippers, Tessa van Schagen
and Naomi Sedney.
