Blessing is pictured above during her semi final where she ran a new P.B. of 10.92s.
Earlier in the year she won the long jump at the African Championships with 6.96m just one cm
short of her personal best (6.97) also set in 2012, at Calabar. Alas in London the Blessing,
the Olympic bronze medalist in 2008, could only manage 6.34m.
