Andreas THORKILDSEN - Norway - 2007 World Championships Javelin silver (result)

The pictures above show Andreas during the final of the mens Javelin at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Thorkildsen, the 2004 Olympic champion, won the silver medal with a throw of 88.61m (he is shown celebrating the throw in the bottom right inset picture), thus replicating his performance two years previously in Helsinki.
