Henrik Ingebrigsten celebrates with the Norwegian flag after winning the European 1500 metres title in Helsinki.
He was the slowest qualifier for the final after finishing fourth in his heat (3:46.14) - the first four did however qualify -
but then at the 2012 London Olympic Games improved his personal best to 3:35.43 a new Norwegian record.
He finished fifth at the London Games.
Earlier in the year he won the European U23 cross country title in Budapest, Hungary.
