Jakob INGEBRIGTSEN - Norway - 5,000m Gold medallist at 2024 Paris Olympic Games

After the bitter disappointment of missing a medal in the 1,500m,

the event at which he was the defending Champion,

Jakob Ingebridtsen made no mistakes in the 5,000m final at the

2024 Paris Olympic Games, winning with a season best time to take

the gold medal.

Ingebrigtsen improved his European record in the 1500 metres to

3:26.73 at Monaco's Herculis Meeting.

At the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome,

Jakob won both the 1,500m and the 5,000m.
