Margrethe RENSTRØM in action at the 2012 European Athletics Championships

where she won a bronze medal in the women's long jump. Her best leap of 6.67m

was just short of her life time best of 6.68 set at the 2010 European Championships,

where she finished 12th.

When she broke the * National record, it was the oldest existing athletics record in Norway.

She beat Berit Berthelsen's (born 1944) 6.56m mark. Achieved in 1968.

Renstrøm reached 13.25 metres in the triple jump, achieved in July 2006 at Bislett stadion.
