Arshad Nadeem's second throw of 93.72 metres was an Olympic and Asian record.

Could 2023 World Champion Neeraj Chopra respond ?  No.

One valid throw of 89.45m,(his second throw it so happened) and the nothing thereafter.

Two times World Champion Anderson Peters with five valid throws kept the final alive

but the man from Pakistan was out on his own. Indeed his sixth throw was also

over 90 metres (91.79).
