With four relay medals from various International Championships Justyna perhaps thought she
might never win an individual medal at the higher levels. She was wrong. In Berlin she captured
the women's individual 400 metres title in a leading European time of 50.41 seconds and then to
make her very memorable day even better, ran the last leg of Poland's winning relay quartet !
