Antonio Pinto pictured during the final of the men's 10,000 metres at
the 1998 European Athletics Championships were he won the gold medal.
Pinto won the London Marathon in 1992, 1997 and 2000 and the Berlin
marathon in 1994 and in 2000 set a European record of 2:06.36 which stood for
nearly two decades.
He competed in four summer Olympic Games and retired in 2002.
