Mariya Lasitskene clears the bar during the early stages of the final of the women's
high jump competition. She retained her World Championship title with a
leap of 2.03m - compared with her 2.01m winning height of two years earlier.
She competed under a different name and a different "affiliation".
Russia was not invited to the Championships because of their Government's
sponsored doping policy.

Lasitskene was the first Authorised Neutral Athlete to win a gold medal.
For the medal ceremony, the "IAAF Anthem" was played as a substitute for a national anthem.
She did not sing the words. (Did anyone know them ?)
