Natalya is pictured above leading the field as they approach the
bell in the 1500m final at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Sadly for the
Russian she was unable to hold onto one of the medal positions, Kelly
Holmes (1804), compatriot Tatyana Tomashova (2949) and Maria Cioncan
(yellow vest) taking the honours. Natalya's time of 3: 59.05 was a new
PB, as indeed were the times of all the other athletes in the first five
places.
