Tatyana Kotova is pictured above during the final of the women's Long Jump
at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Kotova, the silver medallist
at each of the previous three World Champs, this time had to settle for
bronze, her seasons best jump of 6.90m leaving her just 2cm behind the
silver medallist, and fellow Russian, Lyudmila Kolchanova. Tatyana
Lebedeva made it a great event for Russia by claiming the gold medal
with a leap of 7.03m. |
