The right hand photo above shows a delighted Tatyana celebrating
after winning gold in the womens Hammer at the 2006 European
Championships in Gothenburg. Her throw of 76.67m was a new championship
record and left her over 2m clear of her nearest challenger Gulfiya
Khanafeyeva. The left hand picture shows Lysenko, a bronze medallist at
the previous years World Championships, in action during the final. |
BETWEEN 2007 AND 2009 SHE WAS BANNED FOR USING DRUGS.
