Tatyana Petrova is pictured above in full flow during the women's 3000m Steeplechase final at the
2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Petrova, who won the silver medal in the Steeplechase
at the previous years World Championships in Osaka, finished just outside the medals in
4th place on this occasion in a time of 9.12.33.
Her personal best 3,000m steeplechase was 9:09.19 seconds in 2002, in 2007 she ran
8:55.49 seconds for the flat 3,000 metres.
