The pictures above show a delighted Yuriy crossing the finishing line
to take the Gold medal in the 800m at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
It was a perfectly timed run by the fast finishing Russian, his late burst
taking him past silver medallist Mbulaeni Mulaudzi (out of shot) and
Wilson Kipketer (1530) who won the bronze.
