In 2013 he broke the 49.00 seconds barrier for the first
time when he won
the Mediterranean Games in Mersin (Turkey) with a time of 48.83.
He then improved this with a winning time of 48.76 when winning the
European U23 Championship in Tampere (Finland). At the 2013 World Champs
he then ran a life time best of 48.05.
All were Serbian National records.
