aA the 2016 Championships, in Amsterdam, with her second jump in the final
Ivana Španović added the European outdoor long jump title to her Indoor title.
Her first counting jump of 6.94m was enough to win the final (she had 'no jump' on her first attempt)
though Great Britain's Jazmin Sawyer's third attempt of 6.86m was no too far behind.
Earlier in the year she won a silver medal at the World Indoor championships
with a National record of 7.07 metres. But in 2016 there was more to come,
an Olympic bronze medal - the latter with yet another national record on her fifth
attempt in the final : 7.08m.
Plus 6.96m on her 1st.jump and 7.05m on her - for a great series.
