Caster is pictured above during heat one (of six) of the 800 metres when
none of the forty runners beat two minutes. She won her semi final the next day
in 1:57.67 which at the time was also a season best (SB).
In February 2017 Savinova was stripped of her gold medal (drugs) leaving
Caster as the winner of the 800 metres.
