Jesus ESPANA - Spain - 2006 European Championships 5000m Gold medal.
An ecstatic Jesus is pictured above crossing the line to win gold in the
men's 5000m at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg.
He pipped Great Britain's Mohammed Farah by nine hundredths of a
second and can be seen wide eyed in amazement shortly after his
victory in the inset shot. Espana's compatriot Juan Carlos Higuero,
who also won bronze in the 1500m, finished in third place.
